Two hours from our base in Montanita is a fishing town called Puerto Ayora, renowned for it’s whale watching season. Every year thousands of Humpback whales make their epic migration from Antarctica to the warmer waters of Ecuador and Colombia. We were lucky enough to see this male put on a incredible show as part of his courting ritual.
